When you schedule your appointment for an ACTH Stimulation Test at our hospital.  Please follow the following steps:

  • Fast your pet the night before by removing all food after 8pm.
  • Your pet will will be scheduled for their admission appointment with one of our veterinary technicians.
  • Admission appointments are scheduled at 8, 8:15am, and 8:30am.
  • Your pet will stay with us for approximately half of the day while the test is performed.
  • Your veterinarian will contact you after the test have been processed with our outside laboratory usually within 24 – 72 hours.

When you schedule your appointment for an Low Dose Dexamethasone Stimulation Test at our hospital.  Please follow the following steps:

  • Fast your pet the night before by removing all food after 8pm.
  • Your pet will will be scheduled for their admission appointment with one of our veterinary technicians.
  • Admission appointments are scheduled at 8, 8:15am, and 8:30am.
  • Your pet will stay with us for the entire day while the test is performed.
  • Your veterinarian will contact you after the test have been processed with our outside laboratory usually within 24 – 72 hours.
