Local Places to Walk Your Dog

Perkasie Dog Park 

Perkasie dog park is a great place for all breeds and sizes.  A small dog area is offered allowing the opportunity for the toy breeds to cut lose without being trampled.  There is an agility course available for all breeds and sizes, challenge your pet with a run through for something different.

Pottstown Bark Park (Manatawny Park)

This dog park has benches, shade, key access, and nearby river (no separate small dog area).  Be sure to bring water for your dog and some to share.  You must register your dog and pay a $10 deposit for a key to use this dog park.

Green Lane Park

There are several miles of nature trails that attract hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians and more to enjoy the natural beauty of the seasons.  Leashed pets are welcome in the park but are restricted from entering any of the creeks or lake waters.

Perkiomen Trail

The Perkiomen Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors.

French Creek State Park

Dogs are permitted in the state park day-use areas and on state park & forest trails if kept on a leash.  Dogs must be attended at all times while visiting the state park.
